The Department of Neurosurgery at the University of South Alabama is seeking a Board Certified/Eligible Neurosurgeon with a broad range of skills at the Assistant Professor level to join the faculty as a Neurosurgeon Mobile, Alabama. Sub­specialty in Neurocritical Care is preferred. The USA Health System includes the region’s only medical school – the USA College of Medicine; a major tertiary hospital – University Hospital; a free-standing hospital dedicated specifically for the needs of women and children – USA Children’s and Women’s Hospital, and an interdisciplinary cancer research and treatment facility – USA Mitchell Cancer Institute. Collectively, the system provides care for patients from southern Alabama, southeast Mississippi and northwest Florida. Some of the features of the USA Health System include the area’s only Level I Trauma Center, an Epilepsy Monitoring Unit, Cyberknife radiosurgery, and the area’s only children’s hospital.
