We are currently seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to join our faculty as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pharmacy Practice and Administration. This is a 12-month non-tenure-track faculty position. The successful candidate will demonstrate a robust commitment to teaching, research, and service, while providing clinical pharmacy services in the area of adult general/internal medicine in a hospital setting. Qualified candidates will possess a high level of clinical expertise and competency, enthusiasm for teaching, and the interpersonal skills necessary for interacting with learners, faculty, patients, healthcare providers, and the public

Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver high-quality didactic and experiential courses in pharmacy practice
- Develop and maintain an acute care clinical practice site
- Engage in collaborative scholarly research activities, including presentations and publications
- Provide mentorship and advisement to pharmacy students
- Participate in departmental, university, and community service activities
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance pharmacy education and practice
Qualifications:
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an accredited institution
- Eligibility for pharmacist licensure in the State of Connecticut
- Completion of a residency program (PGY1 and/or PGY2) or equivalent experience
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience precepting pharmacy students
- Prior teaching experience in an academic setting
- Experience with innovative teaching methodologies and technology-enhanced learning
