Overview

The Department of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences at Tarleton State University, Stephenville, Texas is seeking applications for a clinical-track Assistant Professor to start in the Summer 2024 or Fall 2024 semester.

The successful candidate will be expected to teach OTD courses in adult rehabilitation with a focus on assistive technologies and accessibility, conduct scholarly research, and provide service to the university and community. Applicants must have earned a doctorate in OTD, PhD or related field. Applicants must be completed a doctoral degree awarded by an institution that is accredited by a USDE-recognized institutional accrediting body required (or equivalent), must have an active Texas state license (or be license eligible) as an Occupational Therapist and possess an initial NBCOT certification, minimum 3-5 years of clinical experience with adult populations, and rank will be determined by reviewing the faculty member’s record of years of experience and professional achievements in teaching and service research consistent with the Texas A&M system guidance.
