- Teach courses in health care administration, including but not limited to biostatistics, data analytics, research methods, health informatics
- Advise and mentor undergraduate and graduate students, guiding their academic progress and career development.
- Participate in curriculum development, assessment, and continuous improvement of the department's programs.
- Serve on departmental, college, and university committees as part of faculty governance.
- Engage in community outreach and professional service activities that enhance the department's role in the health care community.
- Maintain an active professional presence in the field, attending conferences and workshops to stay current with industry trends.
- Good teaching skills and ability to impart this knowledge to undergraduate students, as well as fulfill all other job functions.
- Ability to teach quantitative courses including biostatistics, data analytics, research methods.
- A Ph.D. or DrPH in Health Care Administration, Public Health, Health Services Research, or a closely related field or MS/MBA with focus on healthcare management
- Evidence of successful teaching experience in higher education.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with faculty, students, and community stakeholders.
- Expertise in one or more areas of healthcare management such as health care finance, policy analysis, data analytics, or health care quality improvement.
- Experience with in-person teaching and curriculum development.
