Mercy College invites nominations and applications for a 12-month faculty position and FNP Coordinator position at the Assistant or Associate Professor rank in the Nursing Program in the School of Health and Natural Sciences beginning September 2021.

The FNP Coordinator provides leadership for the curriculum, faculty, and students for the FNP track. Primary responsibilities include overseeing the education of students and acting as a liaison with faculty, adjuncts, and clinical sites.

The Nursing Program places an emphasis on high impact teaching practices, integration of clinical and academic content, innovative clinical education experiences, providing direct clinical instruction, and advising students. Mercy College is a nonsectarian, nonprofit New York metropolitan area institution offering over 90 undergraduate and graduate programs. The College has an enrollment of approximately 9,000 students from diverse backgrounds across four campuses in Westchester County and New York City. Experience and/or Skills Required  

Minimum qualifications include MS in Nursing, at least seven years of clinical experience as a Family Nurse Practitioner, at least five years of experience teaching Family Nurse Practitioner students and an active clinical practice.

Salary and rank are competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience.
