Overview

Indiana University School of Dentistry (IUSD) invites applications for the position of clinical assistant professor to teach in our Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene program on the Indianapolis (IUPUI) campus. This is a 0.80 FTE, 12-month, non-tenure track position. This full-time position requires 1) delivery of didactic, laboratory, pre-clinical, and clinical instruction to dental hygiene students with a focus in courses such as clinical practice, dental materials, and periodontics. 2) Other important expectations include development and updating of courses, student advising, academic scholarship and service commitments (e.g. participation in university and professional association committees and activities).

Basic Qualifications
Position Requirements
For consideration, applicants must

  • have one of the following degrees: a dental hygiene related MS, DDS or PhD.
  • have a minimum of three years of dental hygiene clinical practice experience.
  • either have or be immediately eligible for an Indiana dental hygiene license.
