ROLE of the POSITION
We are seeking a General Family Medicine Physician to join our busy Faculty practice. This position is a full time clinical practicing physician who will be expected to mentor residents while seeing patients. The culture of our department is to encourage collegiality with a flexible and friendly environment. Although this is a University program with a strong didactic tradition, we pride ourselves on a learning climate that is encouraging and promotes teamwork.
The successful candidate is expected to have an M.D. or D.O. degree, be certified by the American Board of Family Medicine, and have completed a Family Medicine Residency Program from an ACGME accredited institution. Must be eligible for an unrestricted Nevada medical license, malpractice coverage and meet credentialing requirements and must be able to obtain privileges at University Medical Center (UMC) and other site locations as needed.
Salary competitive with those at similarly situated institutions. Position is contingent upon funding.
