The College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences at Western New England University invites applications for a full-time, non-tenure track faculty position in the Department of Pharmacy Practice in the area of Internal Medicine faculty at the Assistant or Associate Professor level. This 12 month position offers an exciting opportunity to be a member of an integrated and innovative learner-centered academic program.

The College of Pharmacy, housed in the Center for the Sciences and Pharmacy, has graduated its first class of professional students and is fully accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education. The candidate should possess excellent interpersonal communication skills and a strong commitment to teaching, practice, and scholarship.

  • Applicants must have a Pharm.D. degree, completed a post-doctoral residency OR a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a health care setting, and be eligible for licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
  • Prior experience as a faculty member at a school/college of pharmacy is desirable, as is demonstrated strength in teaching at the higher educational level.
  • The successful candidate will be required to conduct practice site development and maintenance; direct patient-centered care; teach in area of expertise; precept learners; conduct scholarly activity; and perform service to the College/University, community and clinical site.
