The Department of Health Sciences & Administration at the University of West Florida invites applications for a full-time, 9-month Healthcare Administration Clinical Assistant Professor (NTE). The position requires relocation to the Pensacola, Florida area.

Position DescriptionWe seek candidates with experience in healthcare administration. The successful candidate will develop and teach undergraduate and/ or graduate courses in healthcare administration; participate in preparation of the specialization for CAHME accreditation; develop a program of scholarly activity; provide service to the University, the College of Health, and the Health Sciences and Administration; and demonstrate leadership within their area of expertise. A normal teaching load is four courses per semester. Dependent on available funds, compensated teaching is expected during the summer. This position requires a commitment to collegiality, innovation in teaching and learning, professional development, and academic citizenship. The salary is commensurate with experience.

Minimum Qualifications
PhD, DBA, DrPH, MD, DHS, or EdD degree from an accredited institution or the highest degree appropriate in the field of specialization or closely related discipline. ABDs will be considered if the degree will be completed prior to January 2021.

Preferred Qualifications
The ideal candidate would have significant experience with online course development; familiarity with Quality Matters standards; clinical experience in healthcare; a record of scholarly activity appropriate to a regionally comprehensive institution; evidence of a commitment to professional service and community outreach; and good academic citizenship.
