Associated of Applied Science in respiratory care from CoArc accredited intuition and three (3) years of clinical experience.
Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) and State licensure (Respiratory Care Practitioner – RCP) required. Additional specialty credentials also desirable, e.g.; Neonatal-Pediatric Specialist (NPS), Certified Pulmonary Function Technician (CPFT), Registered Pulmonary Function Technologist (RPFT), Sleep, Certified Asthma Educator (AE-C), Adult Critical Care (ACC)
Under general supervision from the departmental chair, the incumbent teaches courses as scheduled, cultivates a healthy teacher-student relationship, and engages the students in active learning. The incumbent will make recommendations regarding curriculum changes, text selection, and content revision. The instructor will perform administrative aspects of instruction in a timely manner.
