Overview

The Department of Exercise Physiology at University of Lynchburg invites applications for a tenure-track appointment in Exercise Physiology beginning Fall 2020. The successful candidate will have a primary interest in teaching undergraduates at a small private college and mentoring undergraduate research. Also expected is involvement in scholarship and service to the University. The Exercise Physiology program is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) and is recognized by the National Strength and Conditioning Association Education Recognition Program for strength and conditioning.

Qualifications: PhD in Exercise Physiology, Kinesiology, or related field is required. ABD candidates will be considered. ACSM-EP or NSCA-CSCS certification is preferred. Salary and rank are commensurate with experience and educational credentials. The selected candidate must pass a background check that is satisfactory to the University.
