Salary Range: 60,000-65,000

Job Description9 month tenure-track Assistant Professor.

Primary responsibilities include teaching undergraduate audiology and aural rehabilitation courses, clinical education for graduate students, and provision of comprehensive audiological services including ABR, OAE, BOA, VRA, hearing aid programming, cochlear implant evaluation and programming , and auditory processing evaluations. Outside contracts may be developed as part of this position.

The department also seeks a candidates who have a strong commitment to service and who will contribute to the University’s general education curriculum with its emphasis on a common First-Year Seminar and core curriculum courses that enhance students’ critical thinking.

Required QualificationsThe successful candidate will possess an earned doctorate in audiology, possess the CCC in audiology, a minimum of five years clinical experience in a variety of areas, and be eligible for WV licensure; expertise in pediatrics preferred.

The successful candidate must show evidence of strong clinical education , and research.

Must be able to perform all essential duties as outlined in the job description.
