The Community Health Division in the School of Health Sciences at Central Michigan University invites applications for a full-time, 12-month, fixed-term (non-tenure track) faculty position in the Master of Public Health Program with primary emphasis in the emerging health systems management concentration. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. An attractive benefits package is available.


  • Teach courses in a face-to-face and/or online format in such areas as healthcare economics, healthcare marketing, health policy, and quality improvement in healthcare organizations, healthcare strategic management, as well as other related courses as necessary
  • Advise graduate students
  • Assist with review of applied practical experience portfolio
  • Contribute to the MPH program accreditation process
  • Facilitate relationships with colleagues within the university and stakeholders at the local, state, national and international levelsĀ – Earned Doctorate (PhD, DrPH, DHA, EdD, ScD) in public health, health administration, health policy, health economics, health finance, or related field of study, or a Masters of Public Health with a minimum of 7 years of experience in the public health field
