This position is a non-administrative faculty member, with full rights and responsibilities of the full-time faculty. Primary responsibility for the faculty focuses on providing instruction and an effective environment for student learning, service and scholarship. This position is a 12-month faculty appointment to instruct students in related to pharmacology course content who are enrolled in the MSN/FNP; PA, and DPT programs.

Specific responsibilities of the this Faculty Member include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Embrace and advance the Catholic, Franciscan mission of the university by ensuring that all teaching, service and scholarly responsibilities are consistent with the mission and implemented to achieve its goals
  • Implement curriculum and instructional interventions
  • Participate in program and course assessment activities
  • Assess student learning
  • Coordinate and participates in recruiting events
  • Provide academic advising for students, as required
  • Actively participate in professional organizations
  • Actively participate in scholarly activities
  • Actively participate on assigned program, school and University committees
  • Assist in coordinating instructional assignments
  • Other duties as assigned


  • Doctoral degree required, Pharm D or similar
  • Current unencumbered pharmacy license required

Working Environment:

Monday- Friday
Occasional travel
Occasional special events requiring some evenings and/or weekends
Office and classroom
