The Department of Kinesiology in the School of Education and Health Sciences at North Central College invites applications for a full-time, non-tenure-track instructor position beginning fall 2017. Appointment at a higher rank may be considered depending on candidate qualifications. The successful candidate will serve as the Clinical Coordinator for Sport Management. In this role, the coordinator will have the opportunity to connect Sport Management students with valuable experiences in a variety of sport settings in the Chicagoland area. Responsibilities entail providing oversight to all aspects of the experiential components of the program, including cultivation and evaluation of sites, assignment of internship locations, student internship training, supervision of student performance, and all required affiliation agreements. Teaching assignments will include courses within the Sport Management major. Qualifications: Doctoral degree in Sport Management or a related field preferred, master’s degree required, as well as evidence of successful teaching experience at the college level. Candidates must demonstrate a commitment to teaching excellence, mentoring of students, and ongoing scholarship/creative work.
