Located in the Finger Lakes region in Canandaigua, NY, the College is in an area known for its beautiful natural surroundings (including Canandaigua Lake), exquisite fall foliage, and local wineries. 1. Qualifications: Masters degree or higher required in Health or Health Care related field; Minimum of 5 years combined experience (Teaching in community college and/or work in the health care industry) required. Strong communication skills and willingness to work collaboratively with colleagues and community stakeholders in the health care industry.

2. Essential Functions:
A. Provide classroom instruction to students, teaching a variety of courses in the Health Care Studies Program.

B. Provide academic advisement through student meetings, evaluations and assessment of advisees’ academic programs

C. Serve on college committees

D. Participate in curriculum development activities

E. Maintain office hours and be available to students as needed and as stated in the bargaining agreement

F. Participate in professional growth and development activities

G. Attend commencement and professional workshop days as defined by the college calendar

H. Perform appropriate other duties as requested by the Provost/Department Chair

Starting salary is high $40’s
