Responsibilities include teaching undergraduate and graduate students in both online and hybrid courses, mentoring and advising undergraduate and graduate students, scholarly engagement, and participating on college committees. Teaching responsibilities may include but not limited to courses in healthcare administration/management, leadership, human resources, operations, finance, economics, health systems, strategic planning, information systems, and research methods. Works collaboratively and communicates with students, faculty, staff, and healthcare organizations. Teaches online or hybrid courses and advises students. Maintains regular on-campus office hours. Engages in service and scholarly activity.

Education: A doctoral degree in Health Administration or a related field is preferred. Candidates with a MHA or MBA with a doctoral degree in a health or leadership-related field will be considered. Degrees must be from a regionally accredited college/university.
Experience: Three years’ experience teaching in a healthcare administration program or five years’ experience as a healthcare manager. Preference will be given to candidates with teaching experience in higher education and evidence of related scholarship or research.
Licensure/Certificiation/Registration: Certification in a healthcare management field is desirable. Actively participates in the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE).
Other minimum qualifications: Strong oral and written communication skills. Outstanding leadership and management abilities. Understanding of educational principles and methodologies. Experience in budget planning, implementation, execution, and evaluation as well as strategic, operational and contingency planning. Familiarity with CAMHE accreditation. Proficient with common Microsoft applications.
