Eastern New Mexico University is seeking applicants for full time faculty member beginning July/August 2017. Tenure-track is available (dependent upon qualifications), as is an extended contract/summer employment. Academic rank, salary, and tenure track eligibility will be commensurate with education and experience.
Responsibilities include supervising graduate practicums, providing clinical services in both medical and university clinical settings, and teaching undergraduate courses in CDIS. Limited participation in student research and other scholarly activity, assisting with ASHA accreditation compliance, and participation in program, departmental, and university activities is also required.
The candidate should present: 1) CCC-SLP; 2) Earned doctorate, ABD, or Master’s degree; 3) at least two years of CDIS practice experience; and 4) eligibility for NM licensure as SLP
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Applicants must possess strong interpersonal and communication skills and commitment to excellence in teaching students of diverse backgrounds.
- Work is sedentary in nature that at times requires exerting up to 25 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
