Overview

Briar Cliff University of Iowa, an institution committed to higher education within a liberal arts and Catholic perspective, invites applications for a 12-month, tenure-track, assistant/associate professor of Nursing to start in the fall of 2017.

 

Candidates will possess a Ph.D. or D.N.P., with preference given to candidates certified as a primary care Family Nurse Practitioner or Adult/Gerontology Nurse Practitioner. Preference will be given to candidates with experience teaching nursing at the baccalaureate level or higher across a variety of nursing courses and with strong interpersonal and communication skills. Opportunities to mentor graduate students on their evidence-based practice projects and practice improvement projects also exist. Successful candidates will demonstrate a commitment to high-quality education in a Catholic and Franciscan University.
