Overview

Midland University in Fremont, Nebraska, (just outside of metro Omaha) is seeking an exceptional full-time assistant/associate professor to teach in the School of Human Performance undergraduate and/or the Master of Athletic Training programs.

Description of Responsibilities:

  • Instruct courses within the School of Human Performance based on expertise (possibility of teaching within the Master of Athletic Training as well)
  • Review, suggest and implement continuous improvement for curriculum, instruction and assessment
  • Assist with oversight and guidance for adjunct instructors teaching within the school of Human Performance
  • Mentor students studying Human Performance
  • Meet with prospective students interested in the School of Human Performance

Qualifications:

  • A master’s degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, Exercise Physiology, Physical Education, Athletic Training, or closely related field is required; a doctorate is preferred.
  • BOC Certified Athletic Trainer preferred
  • ACSM or NSCA certification preferred
  • A minimum of 3 years of professional work experience, teaching at the college level, or teaching/ training adults

  • Professionalism, collaboration, problem solving and flexibility
