The School of Business and Technology at Tusculum College invites applications for an Assistant/Associate Professor of Healthcare Management. This is a full time faculty position primarily focused at our Greeneville Tennessee main campus location. Tusculum College provides a liberal arts education in a Judeo-Christian and civic arts environment, with pathways for career preparation, personal development and civic engagement. The School of Business offers four distinct programs, B.A. in Business Administration for traditional residential students, B.S. in Business Administration and B.S. in Management for nontraditional students, and an MBA graduate program. The last three programs are delivered across multiple sites. Bachelor of Science degrees in Healthcare management and Information Technology will begin in fall 2017. Tusculum College is primarily a teaching institution, and applicants should be committed to teaching excellence.
Tusculum faculty are also expected to advise students, work with adjunct faculty, serve on college committees, participate in curriculum/program development and assessment, serve the local community, and promote the mission of the College and School across all stakeholders. Salary is negotiable and dependent upon education and experience.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:
- Required qualifications are an earned doctorate degree in Healthcare Management or a related field, or verification of completion prior to the start date.
- Evidence of excellent teaching experience, experience with online teaching and development of online courses, program development, and professional experience outside academics are preferred.
