Marshall University School of Medicine seeks an Assistant or Associate Professor of Medicine in Gastroenterology to provide evaluation, treatment, and follow-up care for patients with known or suspected gastroenterological disorders on an outpatient basis at School of Medicine affiliated clinics and on an inpatient basis at hospitals, including Cabell Huntington Hospital, St. Mary’s Medical Center, and/or other MUSOM-affiliated locations. Position will participate in clinical practice/teaching opportunities with medical residents and students and will initiate and complete clinical research with students and residents as part of their scholarly activities.
Medical degree or foreign equivalent. Must have completed a residency in Internal Medicine and a fellowship in Gastroenterology. Must be board-certified in Internal Medicine and board-certified or board-eligible in Gastroenterology. Must have a full and unrestricted West Virginia medical license at time of employment.
