The Department of Kinesiology, in the College of Education at Augusta University, invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track Assistant/Associate Professor in Exercise Science. The full-time tenure-track appointment begins in August 2017, and includes teaching undergraduate courses, graduate courses, and various advanced certificate programs. Advising and supervising practicum and internship student placements, engaging in scholarly activity and research, and providing service to the community and profession are expected.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum qualifications include an earned doctorate (by December 2017) in Exercise Science or closely related field. Applicants should have an established research agenda and the ability to seek external funding. It is preferred that applicants have certifications in their field through national organizations. Salary is competitive, and commensurate with training, education, and experience.

DEPARTMENT: The Department of Kinesiology is one of three departments in the College of Education, whose programs are accredited by NCATE, the Georgia Professional Standards Commission, and the Southern Association of Colleges and Universities.
