The Kinesiology Department of St. Ambrose University seeks an energetic faculty member for a full-time, tenure-track position at the assistant professor level in Sport Management beginning August 2018. Qualified applicants will possess a Doctoral degree in Sport Management or closely related field (ABD considered), the ability to contribute broadly within the Sport Management curriculum, an exceptional commitment to student learning, and strong communication and interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate would also have professional experience in the field of sport management, an interest and ability to teach within areas of Finance and Marketing and the ability to contribute to the Human Performance and Fitness curriculum. Responsibilities of this position include teaching, advising and mentoring students, serving on department and university committees and implementing a scholarship agenda.
