Nature Of Work:
The successful candidate will assume a range of responsibilities including (1) teaching undergraduate and graduate courses, including on-line instruction; (2) supervising students in school, clinical, and research settings; (3) advising students; (4) participating in broad-based university, college, and departmental committee work and professional service; and (5) developing/sustaining a research agenda in a chosen specialty area while maintaining scholarly productivity. An earned graduate degree in Audiology, Speech-language Pathology, or Communication Sciences and Disorders, AuD in Audiology or a related field (e.g., special education, rehabilitation, public health, educational psychology, etc.) from an accredited institution. A doctoral degree is preferred, and ABD will be considered. Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-A.) Possess a specialization in audiology in addition to any of the following specialty areas: neurogenic communication disorders, speech science, and aural rehabilitation. A minimum of 3 years successful teaching, clinical experience, and/or work in the field of communication sciences and disorders is preferred.
