Northern State University invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track faculty position in Sport Management, Sport Psychology, or Human Performance. Preference will be given to those candidates whose teaching and research interests intersect with at least two of the three areas.
Responsibilities: Responsibilities include teaching graduate and undergraduate courses in a learner-centered environment, supervising internships, engaging in scholarly activity, and providing service to the university and community.
Qualifications: Applicants must have an earned doctorate in Sport Management or a related field. The position will support undergraduate programs in Sport Marketing and Administration and Human Performance and Fitness as well as the graduate program in Sport Performance and Leadership. The department welcomes applications from candidates with prior work experience in higher education; additional preference will be given to applicants who have prior curriculum development experience and who are able to assume a leadership role in the department. The successful candidate will have access to the Nora Staael Evert Human Performance Laboratory. Rank and salary are commensurate with qualifications and experience.
