Clarkson University Department of Occupational Therapy is seeking an outstanding educator and clinician for a fulltime 10-month clinical- or tenure-track faculty position for the 2018-2019 academic year beginning in August, 2018. Ideal applicants will demonstrate the ability and experience to guide students to excellence through the innovative, case-based learning curriculum. We are looking for candidates who are qualified in the areas of clinical and teaching in adult rehabilitation, although other practice areas will be considered. Rank and salary will be determined based on qualifications and experience.
The ideal candidates for this position will hold an earned doctorate and have at least three years of clinical experience, although strong clinicians with plans to pursue a doctorate will be considered for a clinical-track faculty position.
Minimum qualifications include
- All candidates pursuing a clinical-track faculty position must hold an earned master degree in Occupational Therapy, have at least three years of clinical experience, and plans to pursue a doctorate degree.
- All candidates pursuing a tenure-track faculty position must hold an earned doctorate degree, have at least three years of clinical experience, and a research agenda.
- All candidates must be initially certified by NBCOT and be eligible for licensure as an occupational therapist in New York.
