Overview

Winona State University invites you to join our Community of Learners as an Assistant Professor of Nursing-Adult Health at the WSU-Rochester Center and surrounding areas. This fixed-term/9 month appointment is expected to start on August 20, 2018. As a faculty member, you will be responsible for teaching undergraduate adult health in acute, transitional care, simulation, and/or community practicum settings. Additional teaching duties include teaching courses that would include, but are not limited to acute and chronic care. Minimum qualifications for this position include (1) a graduate degree in nursing from a Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) or Accreditation Commission on Education in Nursing (ACEN) accredited program or an international equivalent’ (2) licensed as a Registered Nurse with current registration or eligible for licensure in MN and WI; (3) a minimum of 3 years adult health nursing experience in acute and/or chronic care settings’ and (4) Health Care Provider CPR certification, and up-to-date immunizations, including influenza.
