Overview

The University of Arkansas at Monticello ( www.uamont.edu) School of Nursing is seeking applicants for a nine month, full-time, tenure track position as Assistant Professor of Nursing beginning August 2018.

Responsibilities: Classroom and clinical instruction of BSN/AASN students, recruitment and retention efforts, student advising, curriculum development, student assessment and evaluation, participation on School of Nursing and University committees, and other duties as assigned. Ability to collaborate with peers is essential.

Qualifications: A master’s degree or higher in nursing is required, doctorate in nursing is preferred. Experience with undergraduate nursing programs in a university setting and evidence of excellence in teaching, scholarship and service is preferred. An unencumbered Arkansas nursing license is required.

Salary: Commensurate with qualifications and experience including excellent fringe benefits.
