The University of Arkansas seeks applications for the position of Assistant Professor in Health and Physical Education (R97119). The Assistant Professor Tenure Track is responsible for teaching, advising, recruitment, and retention, for students pursuing a degree in Health & PE pedagogy focus on Pk-5 and Health Education Promotion program. This is a 9-month non-classified appointment within the School of Counseling, Human Performance, and Rehabilitation (CHPR) programs. Job responsibilities would include develop and teach in online format, participate in applicant and student advising, supervising Health Education and Promotion interns, and contribute to the mission of the CHPR department by engaging in research and service to the College, University, public and profession.

Required Qualifications: doctorate degree in Higher Education or related professional field from an appropriately accredited institution

Preferred Qualifications: Higher education teaching experience in the field of Health and Physical Education pedagogy focus Pk-5 and Health Education and Promotion.
