Overview

The College of Allied Health Sciences, Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders is seeking an experienced speech-language pathologist who holds a masters or doctoral degree (SLPD or PhD), current certificate of clinical competence, and current Ohio licensure. Primary responsibilities include on-site and local clinical supervision of first and second year students who are enrolled in the University of Cincinnati’s MA in Speech Language Pathology program, direct provision of speech language pathology services (medical SLP), clinical teaching one course per semester (campus or online), scholarship, and university service. This individual must possess knowledge of accredited graduate clinical supervision curricula in communication sciences and disorders; knowledge of evidence based approaches to assessment and intervention; excellent clinical and pedagogical skills; content knowledge in the assessment and treatment of adults with neurogenic communication disorders including those related to voice and swallowing; knowledge of the university community; and excellent interpersonal communication and organizational skills.

Minimum Qualifications: Masters or Doctoral degree (SLPD or PhD); Current certificate of clinical competence; Eligibility for Ohio state licensure.
