The University of the Incarnate Word ( UIW), a Catholic liberal arts institution located in San Antonio, Texas, is seeking applicants for a 12-month tenure track faculty position in the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences in Feik School of Pharmacy. This is an excellent opportunity to be involved in the continued success of an innovative Pharm. Job Duty Name: Essential Duties
Description of Job Duty: Official duties and responsibilities of faculty members at the University include teaching, scholarship, service and professional activities. In all matters, faculty are expected to maintain the highest standards of professional ethics consistent with the UIW Mission.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities
Candidates must possess a strong commitment to teaching excellence and continuing scholarship with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Candidates will be expected to develop individual or collaborative extramurally-funded research program. Candidates must be able to work effectively with individuals from diverse communities and cultures. Employee shall adhere to all applicable rules and regulations of the University, the Conference, and the NCAA.

Required Education
Ph.D. in pharmacology

Preferred Qualifications
Postdoctoral research training and teaching experience will be preferred. Additional consideration will be given to candidates with a pharmacy background.
