Title Dean of Health Program
Name of School Craven Community College
Location New Bern, NC
The Dean of Health Program reports to the Executive Vice President of Learning and Student Success and serves on the President's Cabinet and Council. The Dean provides strategic instructional vision, leadership, management and support to Chairs, instructional support staff, faculty and curricula in the Health Programs Learning Center. The Dean teaches one course per year or as needed.

Master's degree from an accredited institution of higher learning, in Health Program area; doctorate preferred. Minimum five years work experience in progressively responsible leadership and supervisory roles in higher education; teaching experience; experience in curriculum development, accreditation, program review and outcome-based education/assessment; proven understanding of health care trends and health related industry standards; collaborative and inclusive leadership style; highly developed analytical, oral, written, organizational and interpersonal skills; commitment to student-centered principles, customer-service orientation and understanding of the community college mission.


* Salary is according to current compensation plan.
