Description The Division of Clinical and Molecular Endocrinology at Case Western Reserve University (CWRU) School of Medicine and Case Medical Center are actively recruiting one new faculty member in the physician-scientist track in the department of medicine. Candidates with special interest in basic and/ or translational research in diabetes, metabolic diseases and calcium metabolism are encouraged to apply. Academic rank and compensation are commensurate with qualifications and experience. Some funds are available to support the successful faculty applicant.

CWRU School of Medicine is known for innovating educational, basic and translational research programs. The Clinical Research Unit (previously known as the GCRC and currently as the CTSA) has been continuously funded for 50 years. With strong emphasis on research by the School, faculty members have access to many sophisticated core facilities throughout Campus and ample opportunities to take advantage of strong and established collaboration with faculty from other departments such as the Departments of Biochemistry, Pharmacology, Nutrition and Ophthalmology. The newly established UH Harrington Discovery Institute at Case Medical Center offers additional opportunities for collaborations with other investigators on Campus and potential funding mechanism.
