Harcum College, a leader among the nations 2 year colleges, is seeking a Clinical Coordinator / Instructor for Medical Laboratory Technician and Phlebotomy.
This position is 24 hour/week, 12-month, non-benefit position.
Responsibilities Include:
Organization and management of students at clinical sites
Oversee completion of student practicum activities through the Webstudy course management system
Teach student lab in fall semester, held 6 Saturdays September ? December
Teach 1 on-line course each semester (fall, spring, summer)
Recruit additional clinical sites
Attendance at monthly and annual department meetings, annual advisory board meeting, and NAACLS accreditation meetings are required
Commitment to continuing education as required by NAACLS
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree
ASCP or ASCLS (NCA) Certification is required
Strong Clinical Background
Good interpersonal, communication and organizational skills
Experience in traditional or on-line education desirable
Motivated to learn the Webstudy Course Management System
