Position Summary:
This position will provide all duties associated with the position of Clinical Assistant Professor in the field of Primary Care and Medication Therapy Management.
Candidate is required to teach several courses within the Pharmacy Practice curriculum, supervise Doctor of Pharmacy students during their APPE rotations and serve as a mentor for both residents and fellows within the Doctor of Pharmacy program.
Applicant is also required to build independent research and scholarly activity.
Minimum Qualifications:
PharmD required. Must be licensed to practice Pharmacy in New York State or be eligible to obtain NYS license.
Applicant must possess strong clinical skills, ability to effectively instruct in the areas of Primary Care and Medication Therapy Management. Candidate should possess strong interpersonal skills as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to work well with faculty colleagues, other health care professionals, post-graduate and professional level students.
Applicant must have the ability to multitask and manage multiple projects at the same time.
Preferred Qualifications:
Preference will be given to those applicants who have completed a post graduate residency program.
Salary Range: $93,000- 100,000
