Title Public Health Instructor

Description Duties: Teach 4-5 undergraduate public health courses per semester including but not limited to Introduction to Public Health, Critical Issues in Public Health, Contemporary health Science and Careers in Public Health. Assist with the development of undergraduate curriculum in online and classroom formats. Serve on college and university committees; and participate in professional and community service activities.

Minimum Qualifications: Master's degree from an accredited institution in a public health, nursing, medicine, health education, biology, or related natural science degree or equivalent qualifications based on professional experience and otherwise qualified to perform assigned duties.

At least two years of health-related undergraduate teaching experience at the community college or university level in teaching undergraduate students.

Experience using Black-Board or other teaching software.

Must be able to be certified by SACS to teach undergraduate courses in public health.

Preferred Qualifications: Experience in curriculum development. Experience teaching online and classroom undergraduate courses. Experience working within a multi-disciplinary environment.
