Job Description: The Department of Pediatrics, Brody School of Medicine is seeking an additional Pediatric Inpatient Attending Physician (Hospitalist). Duties of this position will include teaching medical students and residents, ward administrative duties, inpatient attending duties, and limited outpatient responsibilities. Opportunities for professional development and research can be provided based on experience and career goals. Night call and ward duties are shared with faculty in the Division of General Pediatrics. Fixed-term or tenure-track faculty appointment available.
The ECU Brody School of Medicine is affiliated with Pitt County Memorial Hospital. PCMH is the flagship hospital for University Health Systems of Eastern Carolina and serves as the teaching hospital for the Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University.
Minimum Qualifications: Medical degree from an appropriately accredited institution. Applicants board certified in Pediatrics is preferred.
