POSITION LOCATION: Health Occupations, Elkhorn
POSITION DESCRIPTION: Under supervision of Dean of Health Occupations, this person will serve as an academic instructor. Evaluate student performance in classroom and at clinical sites. Plan and coordinate clinical education for students. Oversee clinical site selection and development of clinical program. Serve as liaison between program and clinical centers. Develop and coordinate advisory committee meetings. Responsibilities include student advisement on academic issues, curriculum development, recruitment and retention efforts, committee work, and participations in efforts to market Gateway.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS (Applicants must meet ALL of the required qualifications):
* Bachelor's degree in a related field OR occupational experience combined with education and training totaling seven (7) years or 14,000 hours. Each related academic credit or equivalent credit shall be equal to 110 hours of occupational experience.
* Two years (4,000 hours) recent occupational experience, within the last five years, as a Pharmacy Technician.

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT: Salary is a formulation based on education and experience. Salary range: $51,830 (BA) - $88,795 (PhD) for a 157 day contract. Employment is conditional on completion of a background and reference check and the results acceptable to the College. Must meet and maintain Wisconsin Technical College System certification requirements. Benefits include medical/dental, life, long term care, and disability insurance, paid holidays, paid sick leave, and participation in the Wisconsin Teachers Retirement System. This position has union representation and is covered by a fair share agreement.
