Description Wright State University seeks faculty instructor for the master of public health program. Faculty will be the course director of an elective and/or core MPH course, advise graduate students and supervise their culminating experience projects, play an essential role in the operations of the MPH program, and participate in the educational, research, and service activities of the Center for Global Health Systems, Management, & Policy. Required: MPH or MSPH; 2 years minimum work experience in public or private sector; experience in public health and program administration. Ability to administer MPH program, including recruitment, admissions, accreditation standards, and student advising; ability to teach and supervise graduate-level students, ability to teach population based health; ability to work with a multi-disciplinary teaching faculty; ability to participate on a research team doing population health research; ability to work in a collaborative, multi-organizational academic setting; & ability to work independently. Must be interested in promoting the public health profession and public health practice. Preferred: Formal teaching experience, training, and/or certification; experience in managing an educational program; additional education in population based health; additional education in health care field.
