The Physical Therapy Program is a newly developed six-year doctoral curriculum, approved by CAPTE and scheduled to graduate its first class in 2011. The doctoral program replaces a longstanding established master's degree in physical therapy. It is one of the three health care programs that comprise the School of Health Sciences.
The Director is responsible to the Dean of the School, is a member of the Dean's Executive Committee, and provides academic and administrative leadership for the Division of Physical Therapy.
The successful candidate will possess a post professional doctorate and will be licensed (or eligible for licensure) in Massachusetts.
The following professional experience will also be considered:
* A minimum of three years experience in educational administration preferred
* Demonstrate a record of successful teaching and scholarship
* Attained a minimum of five years of clinical experience
* Demonstrate knowledge of CAPTE Standards and implementation
* Evidence of effective communication and team building skills
